A 41-page Industrial playbook for renters. Four rooms, named paint codes for two brands, a 20-item shopping index with price bands, and eight weekend projects.

Industrial is the loft look without the loft. Brick, raw concrete, matte black steel, reclaimed wood and cognac leather, held together by one warmth edit per room so the hard surfaces stop reading cold.

This book prices the look for a standard apartment. Paint colours are named for two brands. Products are named by retailer so you know what to search for. The brick and concrete are simulated with methods that come back off the wall.

What is in the 41 pages
Seven opening pages set the style up: era and origin, materials, references, the colour palette, and master finishes. Sixteen pages cover four rooms. The rest is a renter playbook: rules, proportions, room commitments, a style diagnostic, maker provenance, eight projects, a thrift guide, substitutions, and a two-page shopping index.
The four rooms
Living room, bedroom, kitchen and dining, bathroom. Each room gets four pages: the room itself, an education spread, a mixed moodboard, and a shop-the-look page.
Paint and materials
Five paint colours, each with a Benjamin Moore name and code and a Sherwin-Williams name and code. Warm Charcoal is BM Wrought Iron 2124-10 or SW Iron Ore 7069. Six signature materials: brick, raw concrete, matte black steel, reclaimed wood, cognac leather, and a vintage rug.
The shopping index
Twenty items grouped by room, each with a price band and the page it appears on. An Article Sven leather sofa runs $1,500 to $2,100. A West Elm reclaimed wood coffee table runs $400 to $600.
Weekend projects
Eight builds with a materials list and a running cost, from $6 to $100. An iron pipe shelf, a faux concrete accent wall, a cage pendant swap, a reclaimed wood coffee table, a leather strap shelf, and three more.
Renter rules and substitutions
Two pages of renter rules, then eight substitution pages: the designer piece, the cheaper piece, and why the trade holds up. A Restoration Hardware Maxwell at $3,500 to $5,000 against an Article Sven at $1,500 to $2,100, both full-grain cognac leather, both developing patina.
What format is the file
PDF, 41 pages. It opens on a phone, a laptop, or a printer. No app and no login.
Are the products shown clickable
No. Retailers and product names are printed so you know what to search for. Nothing routes out to a store.
Are the prices real
They are researched estimate bands, not live quotes. Check the current figure before you buy.
Will any of this work in a rental
That is the premise of the book. Two pages of renter rules cover what to avoid, and the brick and concrete are simulated rather than built, so nothing here needs a landlord conversation.
How do I know Industrial is the right style
A four-panel diagnostic sets the real thing beside its lookalikes, with the tell for each, so you know before you buy whether you want the spare version or the layered one.
