The 5 measurements work for any large furniture. The diagonal-carry formula is sofa-specific but the doorway/hallway/elevator checks apply to everything.
What if my doorway is too narrow?
The guide includes a section on window delivery (removing a window and hoisting via rope. It is more common than you think in walk-up apartments).
